Tlie subject of worl<ers' financial participation tends to promote heated debate. Some of its proponents argue that it promotes growth in employee and national income and capital, as well as enhancing employment and social harmony. Others contend that financial participation only benefits those who are already well-off, such as higher-level staff, or employees in dynamic sectors of the economy.
