This volume presents important recent discoveries and theoretical developments in contemporary psychology.
Most of the topics selected are concerned with hunnan psychology - clear evidence, in the editor's view, of 'a willingness to look at what is unique in our subject matter and to find appropriate ways of studying it, rather than to ape the clear-established sciences or to shy away from the complications which the study of language, thought and other cognitive activities entail'.
