INCENTIVE ENGLISH is a course designed to teach students from beginners upwards to communicate effectively and accurately in English, both in speech and writing. There is a Teacher's Edition for each of the four books (interleavipg notes with the units from the students' book). and each boofeís alsó accompanied by a Practice Book and cassettes. The books are structurally based, but the order of presenting structures is determined to a large extent by the students' communicative needs. The language used is always presented in real-life contexts, and role playing and group work form an integrál part of the course. Book 1, Pleased to meet you, deals with basic communication. The Teacher's Edition contains the generál introduction to the course, an introduction to Book 1, and notes on each unit.
