The New Cambridge English Course is a four-level course for learners of English. Level 2 follows on from The New Cambridge English Course Level 1 (or another beginners' course) taking learners to lower intermediate level.
The Practice Book is an integral part of the course, reinforcing, extending and consolidating work done in class with the Student's Book. It provides extra practice on language forms, functions and skills, including optional listening exercises (in conjunction with the Student's Cassettes). Translation exercises provide learners with the opportunity to relate English to their first langauges.
