The Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest has a rich and varied collection of Mannerist paintings. The artists represented include many great names: Angelo Bronzino, Girolamo Macchietti, Paolo Veronese, Jacopo Bassano and Palma Giovine among the Italians; El Greco among the Spaniards; Francois Quesnel among the French; Jan Brueghel the El^ der, Roelandt Savery and Cornelis van Haarlem among the Dutch, and Hans von Aachen and Johann Rottenhammer among the Germans.
