The eyes of the world's media are trained on the International conference on Human Rights at Wannsee - infamous for its associations with the Conception of the Final Solution. What they cannot see are the powerful intrigues underlying the meeting which will lead to unimaginable deception and betrayal. In fact, the entire conference is a lie.
Paul Walters, a professional artist and second generation US Intelligence Agent, is there to co-ordinate the security for the ailing President Dunster. Kate Dinneson is attending as an accredited journalist and also to help an old friend realise his idealistic objectives. Paul and Kate are connected to each other by their violent family histories, and in spite of this they have become lovers.
