Quentin Blake has illustrated 263 books by 80 different authors, most famously with Roald Dahl. After studying English at Cambridge and training as a teacher, Quentin fortunately decided to become an artist. One of our most popular illustrators, Quentin also writes some of his own books and became the very first Children's Laureate in 1999, a mark of the esteem in which he is held. He sphts his time between London and France.
John Yeoman read English at Cambridge and then went on to become a schoolteacher for twenty-six years, most of them at the French Lycée in London. Since his first children's book was pubhshed in 1960, he has written about thirty books, nearly ail of them illustrated by Quentin Blake.
