WILLIAM BARCLAY, world-renowned ^cottish New Testament interpreter, was noted as a profound scholar and an extraordi-nary writer. He studied at the University of Glasgow and at Marburg University, Germany. He was the minister ofTrinity Church, Renfrew, Scotland, and later, Professor of Divinity and Biblical Criticism at the University of Glasgow.
