TEN GREAT ECONOMISTS: from Marx to Keynes JOSEPH A. SCHUMPETER In describing the achievements of eminent men in the field, this series of essays offers a summary of modern economic thought. Joseph A. Ten Great Economists, therefore, is a unique record of living ideas, and of the personalities that created them. Joseph A. Schumpeter was Professor of Economics at Harvard University from 1932 until his death in 1950.
