MICHIGAN
A PICTURE BOOK TO REMEMBER HER BY
Over 110 Color Photographs
Over three hundred and fifty years ago French explorërs, eager to find a passage to the Oriënt and all its riches, landed on the shores of Michigan. Discovering all its natural wealth they settled, planting the first seeds of change that grew rapidly, though notalways smoothly, into modern day Michigan.

Large industrial cities nestle significantly amidst dense forests where deer, bears, beavers and numerous other animals roam freely. Thousands of small, meandering rivers and roads wind their way round the countryside, joining up the vastly different regions.
Wild and colourful, the southwest is dominated by red, black and white oak trees; ash and cherry, whilst moving northward pine and cedar are introduced; all with their boughs dripping... Tovább

Thousands of small, meandering rivers and roads wind their way round the countryside, joining up the vastly different regions.
Wild and colourful, the southwest is dominated by red, black and white oak trees; ash and cherry, whilst moving northward pine and cedar are introduced; all with their boughs dripping heavy with fresh, white snow in the winter and blossoming into a resplendent array of greens, reds and yellows in the summer.
. The magnificent collection of colour photographs in this book provide an opportunity to travel along the shores of the Great Lakes through industrialised areas into gentle, sloping farmland, rich forests and mountain ranges—capturing the carefully restored chapters of Michigan's history along the way.
