ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dr. M. Dale Baughman received his Ed.D. from the University of Indiana and is currently an Assistant Professor of Education at the University of Illinois, College of Education. One of the most popular speakers in the teaching profession, Dr. Baughman is in great demand for major addresses before parent groups, in commencement exercises and other similar speaking occasions. He has gained fame as an impressive and convincing speaker who stimulates his audience wherever he appears.
Dr. Baughman has attracted nation-wide attention for his publications and magazine articles. Noteworthy examples are Iiis "Bonds of Understanding in School-Community Relations," and "Will They be Strangers in Their Own Communities?" In addition, he has served as Director of the Summer Workshop for School Administrators, University of Illinois. He is also a member of the American Association of School Administrators and the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
