STILL Thomas Struth
Thomas Struth, born in Germany in 19S4, ranks among the major figures of contemporary photography, along with his countrymen Andreas Gursky and Thomas Ruff. His work combines a rigorous style with a neutral, objective vision and an impressively precise technique. In recent years Struth's work has diversified in subject, scale, and color to embrace increasingly ambitious subjects and challenging locations. Still is a beautiful survey of all phases of Struth's work, including his urban investigations—extended to the inhabitants and spaces of cities... Tovább

Still is a beautiful survey of all phases of Struth's work, including his urban investigations—extended to the inhabitants and spaces of cities from Milan to Tokyo—as well as his recent lyrical views of landscapes and flowers, and his intimate group and single-subject portraits, which together comprise a unique vision of the alternately public and solitary conditions of being.
