Candidates studying for radiological examinations need lists of differential diagnoses in order to make a logical analysis of radiographs. This book contains a selection of such lists and is designed to save the studerit timé and trouble in combing the literature or constructing these lis|s piecemeal.
Many of the lists are constructed on á 'surgical sieve' basis to aid learning. They are not exhaustive and readers are encouraged to kdaptthe lists to suit the patient-selection criteria and geographical variation of their area. There is a separate summary of the radiological signs of many important conditions.
A basic knowledge of radiology iis assumed. The book has no radiographs, although a number of line drawings are included to emphasize abnormalities.
Used in combination with a textbook of radiology and with reference to specialist texts and journal articles, this book will greatly facilitate success in the postgraduate examinations.
