Molinsky Bili Bliss This innovative approach to English grammar is a conversational grammar book for aduit and young-adult learners of English. It aims to help the intermediatelevel student learn to use the language grammatically through practice with conversational exchanges. Side by Side contains a carefully sequenced progression of conversational exercises and activities designed to provide a solid foundation in English grammar. It gives students the opportunity to use their vocabulary in open-ended conversational exercises that focus on the key grammatical structures of the language. Instructional formát: • A clear grammatical paradigm introduces each new structure. • A model guided conversation presents the new structure in a realistic context. • In guided conversation exercises, students practice the structure in pairs - "side by side." Students create their own dialogs by piacing new content into the grammatical framework of the model conversation. • On Your Own activities provide additional practice with the grammatical structures through role-plays, questions about the students' real world, and topics for discussion and debate. These open-ended exercises enable students to bring new content to the classroom, based on their interests, backgrounds, and imaginations. • Audio tapes are available for all lessons.
