Covadonga de Noriega was born in Seville, the city where she also did her studies before entering the world of photography. She has belonged to the Spanish Association of Newspaper Journalists and Correspondents for several years and she divides her professional activities between photographic journalism and illustrations for books. Her work has gone beyond the national boundaries of Spain and with her camera she has travelled through both Europe and Africa as well as a large part of the South American continent.
One of her exclusive works is "The National Museum of Costa Rica", by Hehconia Press (1987). However, most of her photographic work can be found in collaboration with others in books published by large firms. Incafo has numerous large format publications in which her photographs appear.
As of 1983, Ms. de Noriega has been a regular contributor to the magazine Periplo with an already long list of some 30 articles. These are mostly concerned with ethnography and folklore... Tovább

These are mostly concerned with ethnography and folklore and in the cosmopolitan exercise of her profession, they can take her as easily to "The Chilean Patagonia" (May, 1983), as to Western Africa in "From Tambakunda to Niokolo-Koba" (September, 1987), or the Basque country with the recently published "Onate and its Corpus Christi Festival".
On the other hand, it is almost impossible to list her other photographic work as it is widely dispersed in pubUcations around the world, from the Spanish publishing houses of Anaya or Salvat to the National Geographic Society. Vissza
