APPLICATION CONSIDERATIONS FOR LINEAR INTEGRATED CIRCUITS
Rapid innovations in the field of integrated circuitry have made it difficult for system designers to keep up-to-date. To shed some light on the new techniques that have been developed for designing integrated circuits, leading application experts have pooled" their knowledge to write this .book. Topics covered include some of the latest design techniques in biasing, compensating and incorporating linear integrated circuits into systems and equipment. Each of the twenty chapters is written by a nationally recognized authority in his respective field.
1970 337 pages
DESIGNING WITH LINEAR INTEGRATED CIRCUITS

DESIGNING WITH LINEAR INTEGRATED CIRCUITS
"There is a lot of practical design information packed into these relatively few pages, and engineers involved in designing new equipment will find much food for thought." —Electronics World
Based on lectures given at the Third Annual EEE Semiconductor-Device clinic, this book covers improvements in existing ICs and announcements of some that have recently been mode. 1969 301 pages
LINEAR INTEGRATED CIRCUITS:
Theory and Applications
"Here in 17 chapters is probably the most comprehensive treatment to be found on linear integrated circuits." --^EDN
To present some of the correct techniques for designing with linear integrated circuits, EEE Magazine conducted a Linear IC clinic in 1967. The discourses presented at the clinic constitute a major portion of this book. Most of the original papers have been revised or expanded for this publication. Topics include: linear ICs in communications, complementary linear ICs, IC operational amplifier noise measurements, IC broadband amplifiers, design freedom through user options in RF integrated circuits, hybrid integrated circuits, and thin-film resistors and capacitors. 1968 318 pages

SEMICONDUCTOR MEMORIES
Edited by Jerry Eimbinder
This book describes every type of semiconductor memQry in use as well as those that are currently being developed. It has been compiled to help the system designer choose the optimum semiconductor-memory approach for his application. In twenty articles some of the outstanding experts in the field of electronics discuss the differences between semiconductor memories in terms of performance, economics, and ease of use.
Semiconductor Memories begins with an introductory chapter by Jerry Eimbinder which discusses semiconductor-memory integrated circuits. The ensuing chapters treat such topics as application considerations for read/write memories, making versus buying semiconductor memories, ion-implanted read-only memories, MOS read-only memories, complementary MOS ICs, nitride MOS integrated circuits, bipolar random-access memories, and memory cost and reliability considerations for beam-lead memories. The contributors include Marcian E. Hoff, Jr., Carroll R. Perkins, Merle V. Hoover, Robert Norman, David N. Leonard, E. Floyd Kvamme, Anh Nguyen-huu, Melvin G. Snyder, Robert Juan, Anthony Holbrook, and eleven others.
ABOUT THE EDITOR
Jerry Eimbinder joined EEE Magazine as Managing Editor in 1966 and became Editor in 1969. Since 1967 he conducted more than twenty-five integrated-circuit applications seminars in the United States and Europe. Mr. Eimbinder was instrumental in popularizing the informally run, no-paper seminar where panels of specialists comment on key problem areas in designing with integrated circuits. He was co-chairman of the 1969 and 1970 International Integrated Circuit Application seminars in Paris and chairman of the 1971 meeting. Mr. Eimbinder received his B.E.E. from Pratt Institute and his M.B.A. from Fairleigh-Dickinson University. His previously edited books include Application Considerations for Linear Integrated Circuits, Designing with Linear Integrated Circuits, and Linear Integrated Circuits: Theory and Applications.
