In Project English 3 greater weight is given to the functional side of language which provides an opportunity to revise grammar from a different angle. ¦ Project work. The material in all three years of Project English is based on project work. Through the project tasks pupils are given the opportunity to talk and write about their own lives, and to relate the language they have learned to their own experience. ¦ Entertaining topics. Project English 3 is based on the idea of The Canterbury Tales. A group of young people run a company called Canterbury Holidays and entertain each other by talking about their experiences and travels. The humorous vein in Project English 1 and 2 continues in Project English 3 as the pupils follow the exploits of the comic characters, Carstairs and Carruthers, who are engaged in a race around the world. ¦ This Student's Book is accompanied by an interleaved Teacher's Book, a Workbook, a set of two cassettes, and Project Videó.
