Power electronics
FCsaki ¦ K.Ganszky ¦ l.lpsits-S. Marti
The book is divided into 12 chapters. Chapter 1 deals with the definition, evolution, significance and scope of power electronics. Chapter 2 is a detailed discussion of convertor circuits, the fundamentals and most usual solutions of uncontrolled and controlled rectifiers and line com-mutated inverters. This chapter also treats the frequency changers and phase converters. In discussing the individual convertor circuits it expands on the analysis of the circuits under examinations for various load situations, and on the required current and voltage ratings of the components involved. Typical ratings for circuit components, including transformers, reactors, switches and breakers are described. An analysis of the harmonic content in the output is also given. Chapters 3 and 4 are concerned with a.c. and d.c. chopper circuits. Chapter 5 discusses series and parallel inverters, and analyzes single-phase and polyphase circuits.... Tovább

The basic components of convertor circuits are treated in Chapters 6 — 9. Chapter 6 is on magnetic components of convertor circuits, Chapter 7 on vacuum tubes, Chapter 8 on gas-and vapour-filled components, hot-cathode diodes, thyratrons and mercury arc rectifiers. Chapter 9 discusses semiconductor devices including diodes, transistors, thyristors, triacs, etc. Chapter 10 treats convertor control, the requirements facing circuits and the more popular solutions. Chapter 11 is concerned with the design, construction and protection of convertor equipments. Chapter ] 2 enumerates examples of apparatus and equipments realized in Hungary. The Appendix to the book includes some detailed mathematical proofs and comprehensive tables. Vissza
