Fülszöveg

Music is so deeply rooted in man's nature that musical instruments must surely have been among the first things our ancestors made. In this beautifully illustrated book, Peter Gammond traces the development of the instruments with which we are familiar today, as well as many ethnic instruments. The 80 pages of colour illustrations which show so magnificently the cultural heritage that lies in the world's musical instruments, were especially taken for this book by Richárd Bird. Peter Gammond, the author, is wellknown for his writing and broadcasting on musical subjects. He has alsó taken part in the making of recordings. Vissza
