Dávid J Nutt, DM, MRCP, FRCPsych is Professor of Psychopharmacology and Head of the Department of Clinical Medicine at the University of Bristol. He is President of the British Association of Psychopharmacology. He is co-author of Seminars in Basic Neurosciences (1998) and editor of the Iournal of Psychopharmacology. James C Ballenger, MD is Director of the Institute of Psychiatry and Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He alsó serves as Executive Director of the Center for Drug and Alcohol Programs at MUSC. He is the editor of The Biology of Agoraphobia (1987), Neurobiology of Panic (1990) and the Yearbook of Psychiatry and Applied Mentái Health (1995, 1996, 1997, 1998). lean-Pierre Lépine, MD is Professor of Psychiatry at the Université Denis Diderot and Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at Lariboisiére Fernand Widal Hospitál, Assistance Publique - Höpitaux de Paris in Paris.
