ON THE SHORES OF ENDLESS
WORLDS
by Andrew Tomas
More than at any time in his history, man now has the means available to him to look back deep into his own origins - as far as the explosions that created our universe, the evolution of the first living cells, the emergence of human civilisation from the long stone ages; and at the very same time, to peer out to the very edges of space where lies -our future?
Andrew Tomas is a man who has dared to do what few scholars dare - to try to escape our earthbound view of ourselves that has confined us for our recorded past, and, by assimilating into his own understanding the work of specialists in biology, archaeology, geology,...

Andrew Tomas is a man who has dared to do what few scholars dare - to try to escape our earthbound view of ourselves that has confined us for our recorded past, and, by assimilating into his own understanding the work of specialists in biology, archaeology, geology, history and astronomy, to make a new assessment of man's destiny in time and space, set in an infinite past and boundless future: on the shores of endless worlds.
He examines the mysteries of the 'infinitesimal computer' which tells even inanimate crystals the shape they must assume, and finds a continuity between the organic and the inorganic, the organic and the 'intelligent', the human and the 'superman' whose possibilities are as yet beyond our ken. He looks to the future, where 'starman' will travel at speeds of the order of the speed of Ught, and examines the evidence that such super-beings already, somewhere exist and have existed.
Are the legends of Isis and Osiris, and the myth of the labyrinth, actually cryptograms indicating the location of a time capsule, left by interstellar visitors in ages past? Is the 'ring of space rubble' around Jupiter and Mars the remnants of a lost planet?
Andrew Tomas has a really remarkable gift for blending knowledge and continued on bac/c flap
continued from front flap speculation, and liberating the imagination of the reader with his own. On the Shores of Endless Worlds is no less entrancing than his world best-seller, We are Not the First.
Andrew Tomas was born before the Russian revolution in St. Petersburg (Leningrad), a member of the distinguished Polish family Boncza-Tomaszewski, whose love of books and learning has produced many writers, including Count Alexander Fredro, the 'Moliere of Poland.' Andrew Tomas spent his young years in America, and has lived many years in the Far East and Australia. He now lives mainly in Europe, where he continues to travel, study and write.
