With degrees in social work and, later, interior design as her training, Ms. Wydra was influenced by Jane Jacobs, the social theorist, whose pioneering work initiated the investigation of how living spaces affect individual and social organization.
Ms. Wydra is often consulted by those wishing to utilize feng shui in their living spaces. Rolling Stone's first New York City apartment was designed by Ms. Wydra.
Ms. Wydra has been teaching, lecturing and writing for over twenty years on how our living environment reverberates throughout the human condition. She is co-founder of the Feng Shui Institute of America in Vero Beach, Florida, where she currently resides with her husband.
