MY ENEMY MY FRIEND
In 1996, when Ellie Philpott first visited the Holy Land she was able to travel freely around the West Bank and Israel. Together with her colleague Sjaan, she spent tinne visiting Christians on both sides of the divide, listening to their stories and encouraging them in their quest to show God's peace and love to their 'enemies' on the other side. visited this troubled part of the world, she ran a gauntlet of bullets and border closures, determined
to still seek out the Christians and bring their stories to the nest of the world. Their voices echo through these pages, telling of unbelievable hardships, injustice, and incredible love and sacrifice. If you have ever wanted to really understand the complex dynamics that have created
today's tensions and to hear first-hand from Christians who live out their lives under the shadow of hatred and violence, this book is a must.
