Introduction to the third edition: Five productive years have passed since the book was published for the second time. During this time Katalin returned to Brazil, the scene of her recovery, in order to enrich her knowledge and work. She became an experienced healer for whom it is not the experience of healing which is of primary importance but the fact of recovery itself. The limitless wonders of the world reveal themselves to us through our experiences. Katalin Bokor observes this world with the eyes of a natural healer and heals by applying the most ancient formulae of medicine, this can be seen witnessed here. For me it is enlightening that she experiences the process of healing within her christian faith and all along emphasizes the absolute importance of faith on the road to recovery. I myself also believe that the application of the treatments described in this book will bring recovery to a great many diseased people whose fates would otherwise appear miserable.
