Set up servers, user accounts and shared resources like printers through your choice of user-friendly menus, direct DOS commands, batch files or hot keys.
Printing, too, has gained new flexibility. Large files can begin printing before they finish spooling to the server's hard drive. A new print queue screen monitors the list of files waiting to print and estimated times to start and complete each print job.
Combined with highly individualized security options, e-mail with built-in notification and voice capability, network activity audit trails and compatibility with Microsoft® Windows™ in standard and enhanced modes, the LANtastic network has the features to remain the leader of the peer-to-peer pack.
LANtastic/AI comes complete with LANtastic NOS software documentation and drivers for adapters from IBM®, Western Digital«; SMC®, Thomas-Conrad®, Tandy®, Xircom®, 3COM®, Novell® and compatibles, and various other adapters with NETBIOS-compatible drivers, as well as a generic ARCnet»driver.
