The authors
Professor John Farrar is Professor of Law, Victoria University of Wellington,
New Zealand, a position he has previously held at the University of Canterbury,
Christchurch, New Zealand. He has been a practising solicitor in the City of
London and is now a member of the New Zealand Bar. He is the author of a
number of books and articles on company law and has been a member of law
reform bodies in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
Nigel Furey is Senior Lecturer in Law at Bristol University, and qualified as a
solicitor in the City of London.
Brenda Hannigan is Senior Lecturer in Law at Southampton University. She is a
graduate of Trinity College, Dublin and of Harvard Law School.
Philip Wylie is Senior Lecturer in Law at Cardiff Law School, and is also qualified
in accountancy.
