One of the most important tasks of mathematics is to describe or approximate the phenomena of nature as exactly as possible, and to provide a useful tool in the exploration of nature. For a deeper understanding of natural phenomena we need a systematized definition of the most important mathematical notions and statements.
In this book, a new concept of the structure of the environment is int.roduced. The environment has a porous structure. This concept applies sets of state characteristic values. The book provides a mathematical method which can process a very high number and different kinds of state characteristic values, surveys the complex correlations and explains the structure and the local and global properties of the environment by means of a növel mathematical interpretation. This növel approach has been applied to study

For a deeper understanding of natural phenomena we need a systematized definition of the most important mathematical notions and statements.
In this book, a new concept of the structure of the environment is int.roduced. The environment has a porous structure. This concept applies sets of state characteristic values. The book provides a mathematical method which can process a very high number and different kinds of state characteristic values, surveys the complex correlations and explains the structure and the local and global properties of the environment by means of a növel mathematical interpretation. This növel approach has been applied to study
— the conceptual elements of universe,
— natural state characteristic (complete and porous),
— mathematical constructions and their properties of completeness (for example, the Gaussian least-squares theory),
— the entity of local optima,
— the theorem of the existence of local optima and their conse-quences,
— the mathematical formulation of the selection algorithm.
On this basis, the planned method of selection by Bán (PMSB) has been cleveloped. A model is alsó provided, so users can follow every step.
By means of the PMSB method, various practical tasks can be solved, for example, in the agriculture
— in manuring,
— in choice of tree species,
— in the estimation of volumetric timber yield.
The planned method of selection by Bán can be employed in widely different fields of practical life, like economic policy, public health, industry, etc., in finding the most advantageous conditions and the optimum strategy.
