C. Richard Conti, iUI.D. has been President of the American College of Cardiology, chairman of its Extramural Program Committee, and an active member of all its educational committees. He is also Editor-in-Chief of the international journal Clinical Cardiology and serves on the editorial boards of the American Journal of Cardiology, the American Heart Journal, the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, and Circulation. After receiving his cardiology training at Johns Hopkins University, Dr Conti was medical director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at Johns Hopkins. His primary area of clinical, investigative, and teaching interest is ischemic heart disease.
