Bidding conversations are effective when they are simple, yet accurate. Both partners have to be comfortable during the auction. The goal is to experience the excitement of the bidding conversation without the stress. I've often said that I don't want a point or two to come between friends. I hope you'll feel the same way after reading this book. To help practice all the concepts, there are four deals at the end of each chapter and sixteen additional deals at the end. Each deal has useful hints on bidding, play, and defense with the key points highlighted. To make it easy to deal out the hands, there are Coded Cards available (see next page).
