In the last few years, I have ventured into the unexplored world of "the flowers of the field". In my encounter with over a thousand species of wild flowers, through ikebana I have been able to express my feelings toward the universe, both heaven and earth. If the branches of the material had few redeeming qualities, I sought beauty in the leaves and flowers. In "Wild Flowers and Creative Work", I tried to express in a simple and straightforward manner, the rich poetic beauty of wild plants in their natural setting in accordance to the four seasons. It is a manifestation of my admiration of the power, beauty and greatness of Mother Nature. I roamed through the fields and hills of Bősei Heights in Inawashiro-cho, Fukushima prefecture. Inspired by the natural beauty I found, I immersed myself in creating ikebana through spring, summer and fali, giving myself body and soul to the natural splendor I discovered. Vissza
