Hotline is a four-level course for teenagers. It may be started at beginner levél (Hotline Starter) or false-beginner level (Hotline Elementary). The Student's Book for this level is accompanied by a Teacher's Book, a Workbook and a set of two audio cassettes. Tom Hutchinson is the Associate Director of the Institute for English Language Educatlon, Lancaster University, where he teaches mainly on teacher-training courses. He has given teacher-training seminars in many countrles around the world. Tom Hutchinson began his teaching career in a secondary school and has many years of experience teaching teenagers. He knows their interests and their needs. Through his extensive experience in teacher training, he also understands what teachers require from a good language coursebook.
