HORIZONS PRACTICE BOOK
The Students' Book Horizons bridges the gap between a general language course and the concentrated year of study for the Cambridge First Certificate examination. Horizons uses a communicative approach. The twelve units are divided into short, sharply focused sections. All language skills are developed systematically. The exercises are motivating with a clear linguistic focus. They are based on authentic, interesting texts. The structure review sections provide practice in key problem areas.
The Cassettes
The cassettes contain listening material chosen to help students cope with authentic recordings like those used in the Cambridge examinations.
The Practice Book Horizons Practice Book extends and supplements the Students' Book. Contrastive and manipulative structure practice is provided for all units. Special attention is paid to pronunciation and vocabulary development. Learner autonomy is developed by challenging tasks.
