One of the great unanswered questions from the Second World War is how close did the Nazis get to developing an effective atomic device? Certainly, in their V-Rocket programme they possessed a potent means of delivery. In the early post-war years, there were those in the Intelligence community who became convinced that, given even six more months, the appalling prospect of Hitler being in a position to annihilate Allied cities would have become a reality. Additionally there were other projects such as the Waffen-SS Miracle Bomb that, if nothing else, are evidence of the Nazis' ruthless determination and ambition. Suspicion - and fear - continued for somé years abetted by the spate of unresolved UFO sightings witnessed by reliable individuals over secret US bases in 1947. Despite the Author becoming convinced during his research for this book that 'many Governments intend that the truth of certain affairs is to be suppressed for ever', he is confident that he has come as close to the answers to many intriguing questions as is ever likely to be the case. Inevitably Hitler's Terror Weapons contains a good deal of technical material but those with little or no knowledge of nuclear physics can be reassured that this will in no way lessen their enjoyment and appreciation of this remarkable book. Likewise there is a supernatural dimension to this issue which the Author does not shirk from exploring. The result is a provocative and authoritative analysis of a truly extraordinary chapter of contemporary history. Vissza
