Headway Videó, Upper-Intermediate is the fourth level of an innovative English language teaching videó series. The videó programme consists of six documentary films which extend themes and topics found in the New Headway English Course ÜpperIntermediate coursebook. Each documentary is approximately fifteen minutes in length and is designed to give post-intermediate level learners controlled exposure to unscripted spoken English. The documentaries cover the following topics: unusual homes, the impact of tourism on the Laké District, the Concorde supersonic airliner, journalists working on a local newspaper, the challenges faced by the police in an inner-city area of Birmingham, and an insight into the work of a London ad vertisi ng agency.
