Előszó

Introduction This book is intended for foreign visitors who come to Czechoslovakia for a short period only and wish to learn something about the country's remarkable and interesting characteristics. The nature of the book derives from this fact; with the exception of Prague, as the centre of attraction in Czechoslovakia, it primarily aims at enumerating all that is interesting and worth seeing in Czechoslovakia without going into detail, which would make the book unnecessarily bulky. It falls, therefore, to the visitors who decide on the basis of this book to acquaint themselves with Czechoslovakia, to supplement its information, if they consider it inadequate, by on the-spot advice from guides, appropriate authorities or travel bureaux. Dr. Jirí Chysky Vissza
