Great Britain is a nation rich in history, legends, culture and beautifiil wild landscapes. Inhabited by a people proud of their past, this lovely land offers a colourful diversity of images to the visitor.
G reat Britain derives historical and cultural riches from three nations - England, Scotland, and Wales - each with different ethnic and linguistic roots which have never mixed, although for many centuries the British people have been living together under one royal crown. This is a land rich in historical memories which are not limited to Hadrian's Wall, the Román amphitheatres, the Norman fortresses and castles, or the imposing Gothic abbeys adorned by magnificent stained-glass windows.
