Having spent almost two decades at Highbury, Eddie Hapgood was a central figure in the side that dominated English football in the 1930s winning five league titles and two FA Cups. Herbert Chapman signed the part-time milkman in 1927 for L950 and the left-back went on to make 440 appearances and captained England for many of his 43 international caps.
