English fór aduit classes Foliow Me is a two-year. multi-media course fór beginners or false beginners of English as a foreign language. it takes the student up to The Threshold Levet as defined by the Council of Europe. Deriving from this functionally-defined syllabus, it teaches students to do things in English and provides them with the language necessary to engage in real-life activities. The Students' Books concentrate on the skilis of listening and speaking (and reading), while the accompanying Workbooks aim to develop reading and writing skilis. The course covers 10 themes, each of which is recycled 6 limes, thus encouraging constant practice and revision of the language learned. Fór example, 'Time' is introduced in Unit 6, then recycled and expanded upon in Units 16, 26, 36, 46 and 56 Each Unit follows the same progression - from Presentation (in Dialogue or other form) through Practice and Context Practice, to About you/improvisatíon - thus the student can rapidly apply the...
