Flying Colours
Flying Colours is an English course for adult and young adult learners of English. The course has three levels and takes learners from beginner to intermediate level. It presents the language to be learned in interesting and real-life contexts through a variety of teaching techniques, and aims to help the learner acquire the English needed to communicate in practical situations. Prime Time video can be used to supplement the course.
Level 2 is for elementary students.
Teacher's Book
Detailed teaching notes are provided for each lesson and review section; these include a summary of the linguistic aims and skills developed in the Students' Book material, tapescripts of all recorded listening texts, answer keys for all the Students' Book activities, indications as to when students are able to carry out specific Workbook exercises and suggestions for warm-up activities and further practice upon completion of a sequence of linked activities. The Teacher's Book begins with a summary of the methodological principles behind the course and ends with a section which includes a 40-minute test for each unit plus suggestions for oral testing and an answer key, as well as a section of answers to the Workbook exercises. The tests and Workbook answers can be photocopied and distributed to students.
