ENGLISH NOW will provide a full year's work for beginners of English as a second or foreign language. It will be suitable for use in primary or secondary schools. Students who require English in order to transferfrom vernacular primary to Englishmédium secondary education will be able to make this transition after using this course. It will be equally suitable for weak classes of non - beginners who need remediai work for revision of basic structures. Although it is specially designed for use in a language laboratory or with a tape recorder in the classroom, it may equally well be used as a normál classroom course. The course consists of a Picture Book, Reading Book, Work Book and tapes.
