The BBC Drugwatch Survey is the most extensive study ever undertaken in Britainon drug abuse. Approximately 50% of the questionnaires were filled in by drug users themselves and the rest by relatives or close friends of drug addrcts who, in somé cases, had died as a result of their addictions. Just Say No! is far more than a compilation of the startiing conclusions of this survey because it is a vitai and compelling series of case-histories in which the addicts and those nearest to them have written of their own tragicexperienees. The survey shows: ? 15 is the average age that Heroin addicts first start taking drugs. ?
