David Weston has been a professional dog trainer since 1974. His work involves training family pets as well as counselling owners of problem dogs.
As a Kennel Control Council instructor and judge, David became disenchanted with the conventional way of training dogs by force and set out to develop his own method based on today's scientific knowledge of animal learning. He uses encouragement and rewards only.
In 1976 he formed 'The Kintala Club', a voluntary organisation whose purpose is to promote responsible dog ownership, sociaHsation and training using his unique method.
