This book'is a concise account of the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias examined from a practical, rather than academic, point of view. All cardiac arrhythmias commonly encountered are discussed, with particular emphasis placed on those areas where problems of interpretation and mismanagement frequently occur.
The third edition has been extensively rewritten, notably in the sections dealing with ventricular tachycardia, arrhythmias in myocardial infarction, antiarrhythmic drugs, and cardiac pacing. It is the only text which presents in a single volume concise, practical and up-to-date information on the diagnosis and management of cardiac arrhythmias.
