The hour was getting late. Someone remarked that breakfast was served from 7 a.m., so we could get an early start. We all said good night and promised to meet for breakfast, unwilling to break the chain of friendship we had begun in the handsome inn in not-so-faraway New Brunswick
The menu that Saturday included baked beans, sausage rolls, chicken, zucchini soup, various cold meats, marinated chicken wings, salads, a quiche, trench bread, and several different desserts. The shepherd's pie was scrumptious . .
After each entertaining narrative description of the lodging places, an italicized section gives all the essential facts, including locations, directions, telephone numbers, and nearby cultural and recreational diversions.
This edition also contains some favorite back roads of country innkeepers . Vissza
