INDIfiN
Cookbook
Indián cuisine is not generally known for its diversity, and yet the author of this book successfully demonstrates that it can indeed offer variety as well as richness and sophistication.
These carefully selected recipes will enable those who already know and love Indián food to prepare and serve all the traditional favourites with complete auth-enticity. To the uninitiated the book will prove an excellent introduction providing, in addition to the recipes, all the essential details to achieve the true flavour of a wide range of dishes.
There are suggested menus to help readers cope with complete and balanced meals, and recipes for accompaniments, breads and sweetmeats to add the finishing touches.
The Complete Indian Cookbook is more than a collection of recipes. The glossary of Indian foods and their uses and the background information to many of the dishes will add to your knowledge and enjoyment of Indian cooking.

The Hamlyn Group test kitchen is staffed by fully-qualified and experienced home economists who test recipes in both metric and Imperiai measures, and prepare food for many of the photographs which appear in the lavishly illustrated Hamlyn cookery books. In addition, experiments are carried out on the home freezing of food and new appliances such as microwave ovens and food processors are tested.
There is a dining area attached to the kitchen where authors, journalists, publisher and overseas customers are often entertained to lunch.
