Born in New York and educated at the Fashion Institute of Technology, ChrIS CasSON MadDEN is known nationally as an expert on decorating and interior design. She is the author of Kitchens (Clarkson Potter, 1993) and Interior Visions, and is the editor of Showhouse magazine. Chris Madden is the host of HG-TV Network's Interiors by Design and is a frequent guest expert on national television shows. She lives in Westchester County, New York, with her husband, Kevin, and their two sons; the Maddens recently renovated the bathrooms of their hundred-year-old home.
