The volume contains the full text of all the papers jn-esented at the Fifth Conference on Diniensioninci and Strength Calculations and the Sixth Congress on Material Testing, organized jointly by the Scientific Sf)ciety of Mechanical Engineers and tlie Sixth Dejiart-ment of Technical Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
For easy survey the papers are grouped into three major sections compising 98 original contributions by 76 foreign and 22 Hungarian experts.
