As all other folk of the Earth, the Czech people created their original fairy-tales which have been passed on from generation to generation. Even if the fairy-tales seem outwardly strange to us, it is possible to recognize the familiar features in the basic motifs.
This introduced collection "Czech Fairy-tales" offers an insight into the life of the simple people of Bohemia and Moravia and into the world of their wishes and dreams.
