About the Author: Bili Hancock, ERI Training's Vice President of Engineering, teaches computer networking worldwide, from the United States to the People's Republic of China, and has designed and installed over 2000 networks. Bili is on the board of directors of Digital Equipment Computer Users Society (DECUS, US Chapter) and is the Network Editor of DEC Professional. He is widely published in various technical magazines, including Computer World and News 34/38. A former committee member of ANSI X3 and a US representa-tive to the ISO, Bili brings to this book a rare understanding of networks. Bili authored Designing and Implementing Ethernet Networks (1988, QED Information Sciences, Inc.).
