AT LAST WHAT IS THE TRUTH
by
Dr. Joseph D. Hollo
This book discusses, and attempts to draw some conclusions aboüt, topics of such far-reaching significance as God, the Universe, and Man. lts au-thor, the late Joseph D. Hollo, pre-viously a writer of many scholarly works, here has attempted to sum up the results of many years of theological and philosophie spéculation.
Dr. Hollo was originally an atheist of the modem mold who later made his own independent discovery of what he calls spiritualism. This he distin-guishes from "spiritism," or occult contact with departed spirits—a topic he discusses only briefly. His main concern is an attempt to present the truths of Man's spiritual life entirely apart from any Biblical or scriptural context, as self-evident facts of a religious nature. Only in the latter portions of his book does he make extended references to the Bible and other religious teach-ings of the past, using these to buttress the main body of his argument.

reader. Dr. Hollo relies heavily on the cosmological "proof" of God's existence to support the rest of his position, argu-ing that the pian of the world and the laws of Nature are evidence of a creative cosmic intelligence. Repeatedly he makes the point, with telling effect, that the many discoveries of the modem sciences are gradually hearing out the contention of the ancients that the Universe was built according to a divine pian.
